Everything and Nothing
Time has been flying by and almost a month has passed since my last entry! On the one hand, things have been busy and lots has been going on. On the other hand, I haven't felt like I've had that much to write. So how does that work? I'm not sure, actually. I guess most of what I have to talk about is my boy W, and yet I don't want to turn into a one-trick mommy blogger.
To summarize, here are some of the big goings-on of the past month, most of which I hope to touch on at some point in more depth:

To summarize, here are some of the big goings-on of the past month, most of which I hope to touch on at some point in more depth:
- I left W in the capable hands of his dad for FOUR nights, my first time away for him for more than a workday, and all of us survived.
- I stayed overnight a few nights with W for the first time, without dad.
- W made his second trip to the beach and ate some sand.
- I thought I was going to die of heatstroke on at least a couple different occasions.
- My man started a new, demanding job.
- My job situation changed quite a bit.
- My milk supply has dropped and I am doing everything possible to get it back up.
- I paid someone to stick a needle in my neck (definitely more on this in a few days' time).*

We took Puffy to her homeopath the other day (I know, that's probably a blog in and of itself), and we forgot to bring any toys. The doctor saved the day with this syringe, which she kindly removed the needle from before giving it to him. Hey, at least we knew it was sterile, which is more than I can say for his other toys. Plus it was kind of funny to imagine what people were thinking when they saw him playing with it in public.

You know, the cliche is SO true: non-toys make the best toys. V loves daddy's lens cap the best. It entertains her for very long periods of time. She also loves shoes, but I don't let her play with those because they are too dirty. I'm with you - syringe minus needle is probably the cleanest toy ever!

Yep, it was pretty clean, until he dropped it on the floor about 10 times. LOL
