I spend way too much time reading the forum posts on BabyCenter — it's something I can do on my iPhone, in the dark, during those lengthy middle-of-the-night feedings. I have learned a lot, laughed some and marveled at some people's "interesting" ideas. But, one post the other day has me feeling like I am dressing my baby the wrong way!

William spends nearly all of his time in pajamas (as does mama, these days). He has not left the house except to go to the doctor's office, but when he did, he wore his pajamas. His small wardrobe consists of 90% pajamas (footy pajamas and gowns), plus a couple of baby sweatsuit things. Even those can be successfully used as pajamas as we have learned. I change his clothes when they get dirty, which can be anything between 30 seconds and 24 hours after I put them on.

But a lot of the girls on this forum were saying, oh, well I put on his pajamas at night, and in the morning I put on a daytime outfit. ??? What? Am I crazy? I mean, it's a baby, right? What's the difference between pajamas and a daytime outfit? I mean, I guess if you have a girl and she has all these cute frilly dresses, you might want to use those during the day. But a boy? We are getting ready for some of our first big outings this week and I don't want my boy to be a fashion "don't."  Help!
