Envious of my son

It's easy to be envious of babies... at least mine has a great life! Eat, sleep, poop, get carried around, lots of kisses and people catering to your every whim. But there are a few things in particular that have me feeling envious of W:

Vibrating bouncy chair:
Like a recliner for babies. It's cute, it bounces and it vibrates. Also the one Lib gave us has these adorable googly-eyed bugs on it. What's not to like? This thing would put me to sleep in minutes. (Not that that's too hard these days.)

Sleep Sheep:
This thing is awesome. (Thanks to Julia who gave it to us at my LA shower!) It looks adorable, hangs off the crib and makes several different soothing sounds like rain, ocean and heartbeat. The first time we tried it on W it was like a miracle. He stopped crying so fast I was literally afraid something had happened to him. Anyway, this is cuter and probably a lot less expensive than those fancy schmancy white noise machines at the Sharper Image.

Musical swing:
OK, the music is a bit lame, but the rocking motion makes up for it. Too bad an adult-sized one would take up half the living room. Maybe someday I'll have a porch and then I can have a porch swing.

Swaddlers:
Old-fashioned swaddling is easy enough, but these things are easy AND they keep the baby wrapped up even when he moves around. They look a bit like a straitjacket, but I think a nice adult-sized fleecy one would be very snuggly to sleep in.

Having Francisco pat you until you fall asleep:
Enough said.

Any baby stuff make you envious?
